WHAT I HAVE DONE
⚙ created mechanical design concepts that became final commercial products in the field of prosthetics and in the field of animatronics
⚙ worked with Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory on the 4-year DARPA project: Revolutionizing Prosthetics 2009
⚙ served as a project manager on the iPed Microprocessor-Controlled Prosthetic Ankle
⚙ served as a Peer Reviewer for the Journal of Prosthetics and Orthotics
⚙ served as an Industry Advisor for the Orthotic and Prosthetic Technician Program at Francis Tuttle Technology Center
⚙ served patients at a world-renown prosthetic facility as an American Board Certified prosthetist
⚙ designed control system architecture for pneumatic and servo-controlled animatronic figures for clients like Disney and Universal Studios

WHAT I CAN DO
⚙ serve as a design engineer and project coordinator with a team of mechanical, electrical and software engineers to help direct and synchronize these disciplines in medical research and development
⚙ provide insight into medical device engineering, utilizing knowledge and clinical experience in musculoskeletal anatomy, pathology, biomechanics and kinematics
⚙ design mechanical assemblies, medical prototypes, custom tools, jigs, test fixtures and calibration instruments
⚙ integrate training in SolidWorks CAD software and familiarity with 3D tracking, scanning and rapid prototyping technologies to assist mechanical engineers in solving design requirements
⚙ draft grant proposals and write professional, technical, and project management documentation
⚙ produce technical illustrations for assembly procedures, documentation, brochures, user manuals and provisional patent applications
⚙ assemble complex electro-mechanical devices and utilize fabrication skills in a wide variety of materials and techniques, including: mold making and casting in silicone, resin and plaster, 3D printing, vacuum forming, composite lamination, general shop skills, electronics soldering, and sewing
